Getting started

Do I need an account to use Life Tempo?
No. Tap “Continue without an account” and everything works right on your device — your data just stays on that one device. Create a free account any time to back it up and sync across your iPhone and iPad.
What can I do in the app?
Life Tempo brings your day together in one place: a calendar with events, tasks, and habits; a full workout tracker with a live muscle map, estimated 1-rep max, and a rest timer; meal planning with recipes and an auto grocery list; a budget that projects your accounts months ahead; and vacation planning with cost ranges and savings goals.

Accounts & syncing

How do I sync my data across devices?
Create a free account (tap the person icon at the top-right of the Today screen, then “Sign in / create account”). Once you're signed in on each device, your data stays in sync automatically. You'll see “Synced ✓” when everything's up to date.
Is my data private? Can other users see it?
Yes, it's private. Each account can only ever access its own data — this is enforced at the database level, so no other user can see your workouts, budget, meals, or trips. The only thing that's ever shared is an exercise you deliberately choose to share to the community library, and even then only its name and target muscles, never your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open the account menu (person icon, top-right of the Today screen), tap “Delete my account,” and confirm. This permanently removes your account and all synced data — workouts, plans, meals, budgets, and trips. It can't be undone.
I forgot my password.
Email us at DMedley22@hotmail.com from the address on your account and we'll help you reset it.

Workouts

How does the rest timer work?
When you tap the ✓ to complete a set, the rest timer starts automatically and shows at the bottom of the screen. It buzzes when your rest is up, then hides itself until you complete the next set. You can set your default rest length, and add or skip time from the timer bar.
What is the muscle map and estimated 1-rep max?
After a workout — and on any exercise's how-to screen — a shaded body figure lights up the muscles that exercise works (green for primary, gold for assisting). The estimated 1-rep max is calculated from your best logged set using the Epley formula, so you can watch your strength climb over time.
What is the community exercise library?
When you create your own exercise, you can choose to share it so other members can add it to their library too. You can report, hide, or block content from other contributors using the ⚑ button, and anything reported by several members is hidden automatically. Sharing is always optional.
Why don't some exercise demo photos appear?
Demo photos load from the internet, so they appear when you're online and are simply skipped when you're offline — the muscle map and how-to steps are always there. You can also add your own image or video link to any exercise from its how-to screen.

Budget & trips

How does the account projection work?
In Budget → Accounts, add your accounts and link your income and expenses to them. The app projects each account's balance forward month by month from those dated entries — including catching extra-paycheck months.
My balance doesn't match my real account.
Use the “Balance an account” button in Budget → Accounts. Enter what the account actually holds right now, and the app logs a one-time adjustment for the difference so your projection matches reality — handy for anything you forgot to enter.

Troubleshooting

My data isn't syncing.
Check that you're signed in (person icon, top-right) and connected to the internet — the status shows “Synced ✓,” “Syncing…,” or “Sync error.” If it stays on an error, sign out and back in. If it persists, email us and we'll take a look.
I found a bug or have a feature request.
We'd love to hear it. Email DMedley22@hotmail.com with what happened (and your device model if it's a bug) — feedback from early users shapes what we build next.
